Sources The pre-selection source list is created by Stas and extended by OlegĄ¯s suggestions. And source 1921-293 is considered for real-time fringe check. 1) Good catalogue Number of sources in the pre-selection list: 87 (provided by Stas, N >= 3) + 6 (suggested by Oleg) + 1921-293 (for fringe check) = 94 Number of observed sources in the 8 sessions is 76, which is decided by the station-based scheduling optimization in Vie_Sched. 2) Bad catalogue Number of sources in the pre-selection list: 182 (provided by Stas, N >= 3) + 7 (suggested by Oleg) = 189 The source 1921-293 for fringe check is already included in the 182-source pre-selection list. Number of observed sources in the 7 sessions is 114, which is decided by the station-based scheduling optimization in Vie_Sched. 2. Scheduling parameters The same scheduling parameters are used for the good catalogue and bad catalogue. The station-based scheduling option with fill-in mode is employed to schedule for AUST13 campaign. 1) Cut-off elevation angle: 5 degrees 2) Minimum scan length: 20 sec 3) Maximum scan length: 500 sec 4) SNR targets: 20 on X band and 15 on S band, to have a better chance for detecting sources successfully. 5) Duration: 23h51m, i.e. one sidereal day minus 5 min for schedule changeover. 6) Recording rate: 1Gbps 16 MHz Ifs 32 MHz sampling rate 2-bit quantization 16 channels (10 channels for X and 6 channels for S band) 7) Minimum elongation angle to the Sun: 3 degrees 3. Record data amount per session The total record data is less than 8 TBytes at each station, and the observing time is less than 72.4%. 4. Fringe check As required for fringe check, one 20-sec scan per session on 1921-293 on all telescopes simultaneously is scheduled. We schedule this scan as soon as possible when all 5 antennas can observe source 1921-293 at the same time. 5. Repeatability per sidereal day The same schedules per sidereal day are obtained. ===================================================================== If you have any questions, please contact Jing Sun (jing.sun@tuwien.ac.at) or Johannes Boehm (Johannes.Boehm@geo.tuwien.ac.at).
