IVS-OHIG74 (Continuous Observations of the Rotation of the Earth and South terrestical reference frame network) 2011 Nov.08-09 doy 312-313 Insitute for Geodesy and Geoinformtion (IGGB) of the University of Bonn, Germany Nominal Start Time: 17h30 UT Nominal End Time: 17h30 UT Duration: 24.0 hr Correlator: Bonn Participating stations: Code=Station =================== Ft=FORTLEZA Kk=KOKEE Sy=SYOWA Ww=WARK12M Tc=TIGOCONC Purpose ======= The purpose of the IVS-OHIG (Southern Terrestrial Reference Frame) sessions is to tie together optimally the sites in the southern hemisphere. Because these sessions concentrate on the southern sites and do not use observing time to accurately tie these sites to far northern sites (as the Global Sessions do) they should yield a very accurate regional TRF around the South Pole. Schedule ======== This is a schedule generated with the automatic mode of sked using the variable scan length with a minimum of 60 seconds. The most recent and updated source flux models are included. SNR goals are 20/18 at X-band and 20/18 at S-band for all stations. The predicted SNRs used include a 30 ps noise contribution added in quadrature, which is a typical size for the reweight constants size for the reweight constants required in SOLVE solutions. This schedule was optimized by different features: - the covariance analysis during schedule generation considers the previous 2 hours of observations, - minor SKED optimization parameters . maximum number of observations, were optimized over the best (in a covariance sense) 75% of the possible observations, this produces a somewhat more even sky distribution, - observations were weighted by their expected SNRs, - 30 ps noise contribution added, - mimimum time between observations of the same radio source was set to 20 min - use of CvgONLY in order to improve the geometry of observation This schedule was made using 60 sources which helped improve the sky coverage. Procedures ========== Please generate the procedures for this session using drudg. Except of Syowa station who have to prepare K5 setup procedures with the existing skd file.
