IVS-R1187 / R1187 2005 August 08-09 220/17:00 - 221/17:00 Haystack correlator expt #3109 Fourfit quality code summary: 78% 7-9 4% 1-6,A-H 3% 0 (non-detection) 15% no data Gilcreek (A/Gc): Warm receiver. Missed 91 scans due to antenna problems, including all scans from 221-1048 to end of session. HartRAO (J/Hh): OK. Matera (I/Ma): Deleted channel S4 in fringing due to strong RFI. ~10% of S-band scans are G or H codes due to RFI in remaining channels, mainly S1 and S2. Medicina (B/Mc): Channels X1, X3, X4, and S5 have weak fringe and phase cal amplitudes for several hours toward the beginning and end of the session. There appears to be a problem with the data sampling: when the amplitudes are low, the samples are very strongly biased toward negative values. Other channels show occasional bias, and corresponding reduced amplitudes, but less frequently and not as strongly. X1, X4, and S5 were deleted in fringing. ~10% of S-band scans are G or H codes due to RFI and/or intermittent sampling problem in remaining channels. ~9% of X-band scans are G or H codes due to intermittent sampling problem in remaining channels, especially X3. Missed 20 scans from 221-1222 to -1334 due to antenna problems. Tigoconc (O/Tc): Late start at 220-1802 due to receiver vacuum problems -- 12 scans missed. Reduced X-band fringe and phase cal amplitudes during first ~6 hours of session, especially in channel X5, due to elevated system temperatures while receiver was being cooled down and due to increased LO phase instability. Westford (E/Wf): Missed 58 scans due to antenna problems, most caused by the antenna running into the upper elevation limit due to a bad servo amplifier. ~2% of S-band scans are G codes due to RFI from digital audio satellites in channel S4. Wettzell (V/Wz): Scheduled outage for Intensive from 220-1812 to 220-1945.
