CB702 #2857 tar-save will be created 2000 Oct 16-17 Processing factor = ?? DOY 290-291 83% have fourfit Quality Codes of 5-9. Algonquin(G): OK. Crimea(C): S-band channels 1 and 6 were deleted because Mk3 tracks 14 and 24 were unreadable. Other tracks all had typical error rates of 1e-3. Some S-band scans were refringed with narrow MBD windows to select the correct DRF peak. Two-thirds of X-band scans and one-quarter of S-band scans are non-detections. X-band fringe amplitudes on Crimea baselines are 5-10 times weaker than in CB701, whereas S-band amplitudes are about the same. Station log indicates that antenna was on source at the start of almost every scan. Problem with pointing model or short-term (<1 second) phase coherence? Data were fringed with manual phases. Phase cal phases and amplitudes were unstable. About 10 S-band scans have weak fringes and phase cal in channel S5. DSS65(M): Recording quality was poor, and half the data for each scan were overwritten during the succeeding scan, due to an improperly created snap command file. 6% of scans are non-detections. For most of these scans, log indicates antenna was off source at the start. There may be some connection with an elevation encoder problem discovered two days after CB702. Fortaleza(F): Missed the first 3.5 hours due to cryogenic problems. Ny Alesund(N): OK. Tsukuba(T): OK. Yellowknife: Did not observe due to antenna drive problems.
